We are now B Corp Certified!

In January 2023, SquareNuts embarked on an ambitious journey to achieve B Corp certification. This prestigious label, which imposes rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability, represents much more than mere recognition for us.

It embodies our determination to act as a force for good, and to help build a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system. Today, we are proud to announce that, after a year and a half of hard work, we have received the long-awaited approval.

The beginning of a journey towards change

At SquareNuts, we have always been deeply aligned with the mission of the B Corp network: to promote an economy that benefits all stakeholders – workers, communities, customers, and our planet. In choosing to become a B Corp, we wanted to go beyond good intentions and implement concrete actions to embody this change.

Challenges faced and lessons learned:

Achieving B Corp certification was no easy task. It was a great milestone for us.

The process, which began in January 2023, presented us with many challenges. We had to rethink and improve our practices on all fronts:

• reducing our energy consumption;
• using rainwater;
• implementing employee wellness processes;
• justifying and optimizing waste sorting;
• introducing performance assessment and career development tools;
• and much more …

Each challenge required genuine teamwork, urge us to push our limits and adopt sustainable, responsible practices.

Certified for a minimum period of three years, we must now provide regular reports and continue to improve to maintain this certification.
